rarely, if u hold L, it will not work underground, and will take in a normal wild Pokemon too. When this happens, try again and it should work (in general, or if I accidentally let go of L or above)
Master ball if u subtract, and you want or any other Pokemon, or you can reset the Master Ball to 493 with the L and R button again
